স্কুল জীবন থেকেই লেখালেখি সাথে সম্পৃক্ত অর্থাৎ প্রায় তিন দশক ধরে তিনি লেখালেখি করেন। এছাড়াও বিভিন্ন মানবিক সামাজিক কর্মকাণ্ডে তিনি জড়িত। পরিবার ও লেখালেখির পাশাপাশি তিনি ব্যবসা করেন।
