হাজার কাজের ভিড়ে ভুলতে চেয়েছি তোমায়
পারিনি ভুলতে তোমায় স্মৃতিগুলো শুধু কাঁদায়।
আকাশে বাতাসে শুনি শুধু তোমারি প্রতিধ্বনি
মেঘের আড়ালে ভেসে ওঠে তোমারি প্রতিচ্ছবি।
রাতের বেলা ঘুমের জন্য চোখ বুজে শুয়ে থাকি
ঘুম আসেনা চোখে তাই সারা রাত জেগে থাকি।
বিছানা থেকে উঠে জানালার ফাকে দেই উকি
জ্যোৎস্না ছড়ানো চাঁদের মাঝে তোমায় খুজি,
যখনি দেখি চাঁদের মাঝে তুমি নেই আছে এক
চড়কা কাটা সাদা কাপড় পড়া নুয়ে পড়া বুড়ি
হয়তোবা বয়সের ভাড়ে লুটিয়ে পরেছো তুমি
এই ভেবে সারা রাত তোমার জন্য বসে থাকি।
হঠাৎ কানে ভাসে মসজিদের আযানের ধ্বনি
তারি মাঝে কান ঝাঝা করে পাখির কলকাকলি
এভাবে রাতের পরে রাত আসে সময় চলে যায়
চারিদিক থেকে জলের রাশি চোখ ভাসিয়ে যায় ।
সকাল বেলা বিছানা থেকে উঠে মাঠে চলে আসি
দূর্বা ঘাসের উপর পড়ে থাকা শিশিরে পা রাখি।
তখনি বুকের মাঝে শুরু হয়ে যায় কাপাকাপি
যে শিশির বিন্দুতে তোমার পায়ের স্পর্শ লাগলে
শিহরিত হয়ে বলতে আমায়, তোমায় ভালবাসি।
আজও সেই কথা মনে পরলে ভেসে যায় আঁখি
তুমি কি এখনও সকাল বেলা শিশিরে পা রাখ?
শিশির বিন্দুর স্পর্শ লাগলে আমার কথা ভাব ?
এখন কি শিশির বিন্দুর স্পর্শে তোমার শরীর
শিহরিত হয়ে ভালবাসার অনুভূতি সৃষ্টি হয় না?
কি বলবো তোমায়, বলার ভাষাটুকুও আজ নেই
যে ভালবাসার জন্য প্রহর গুনতে কখন কথা হবে
কখন আকাশে মেঘের ফাকে চাঁদের দেখা মিলবে।
এখনও মেঘের ফাকে অনায়াসেই চাঁদের দেখা পাই
চাঁদকে পেলেও মনে হয় কি যেন আজ পাশে নেই
নিরবে কান পেতে তোমার কথা শুনতে না পাই
এ দেহের প্রতিটি রক্ত মাংস জমাট বেধে যায়।
হৃদযন্ত্রের সকল ক্রিয়া বন্ধ হয়ে মরার উপক্রম হয়।
একদিন হয়তো পৃথিবী তার সকল মায়া ছেড়ে
ফেলে দিবে আমায় অচিন দেশের কোন এক ধারে।
সেই দিনের অপেক্ষায় আজ আমার দিন চলে যায়
জীবনের শেষ বেলায় এসে একবার হলেও এ মন
তোমার আকাশে,তোমার বাতাসে বিচরণ করতে চায়
যদি কখনও ভালবেসে থাকো এই অভাগা আমায়
ভাসিয়ে যাও শেষবার আমায় তোমার ভালবাসায়
শান্তি পাবে আত্মা আমার অচিন দেশের আস্তানায়।
পৃথিবীর শেষ প্রান্তে দাঁড়িয়ে শুধু তোমার প্রতীক্ষায়
কখন এসে বলবে তুমি “শুধু ভালবাসি তোমায়”।
