নড়াইল জেলায় ১৯ এপ্রিল বিশ্ববরেণ্য চিত্রশিল্পী এস এম সুলতানের জন্মজয়ন্তী উপলক্ষে পনেরদিনব্যাপী সুলতান মেলার পঞ্চমদিনে বরেণ্য চিত্রশিল্পীদের নিয়ে আর্ট ক্যাম্প অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। মেলার কর্মসূচির অংশ হিসাবে এস এম সুলতানের মাছিমদিয়া বাগানবাড়িতে আর্ট ক্যাম্পটি অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।
নড়াইলের জেলা প্রশাসক এবং এস এম সুলতান ফাউন্ডেশনের সভাপতি মোহাম্মদ আশফাকুল হক চৌধুরীর সভাপতিত্বে আর্ট ক্যাম্পের সমাপনী অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি ছিলেন খুলনার বিভাগীয় কমিশনার মো. হেলাল মাহমুদ শরীফ।
অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তব্য রাখেন বাংলাদেশ জাতীয় যাদুঘরের উপ-পরিচালক নাসির উদ্দিন আহম্মেদ, এস এম সুলতান ফাউন্ডেশনের সদস্য সচিব আশিকুর রহমান মিকু প্রমুখ।
আয়োজকরা জানান, দেশের ৩৫ জন বরেণ্য চিত্রশিল্পী এ আর্ট ক্যাম্পে অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
